Types of Treatment and Eligibility
In the Outpatient program, all those living in the geographical
region of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are eligible.
The outpatient program is responsible
for providing therapeutic support for Project Rachel—a
program designed to help clients who have been affected
by abortion.
Therapists provide individual therapy. Clients may also
be referred to support groups offered at the various
Family Service Centers.
Marriage Readiness Assessment-Couples
who are interested in remarriage in the Catholic
Church after an
annulment can seek a marriage readiness assessment. This
process is sometimes a requirement for re-marriage after
a declaration of nullity, and helps couples develop a
greater awareness of the strengths and vulnerabilities
of their relationship, and make more informed decisions
about their suitability and “readiness” for
future marriage. The final determination of eligibility
for re-marriage in the Catholic Church is made by the
Metropolitan
Tribunal after the assessment is completed.
In the SAFE program, sexually abused clients ages 3-17
are eligible for treatment.
The HOPE program provides treatment
to clients who are homebound and are 60 or over.
Cost
Many insurance plans are accepted. Your counselor
will be able to assist you regarding insurance. Medical
Assistance
provides reimbursement for therapeutic services for Pennsylvania
residents who are eligible. Medicare and other insurance
cover elderly clients in the HOPE program.
For all clients, a sliding scale fee is
available. Please consult with a counselor. |
